Hi, I’m Nicola.
I’m a recovering people-pleaser and psychotherapist. I have been helping 100’s of clients over the last 8 years to become more fulfilled, empowered and conscious in their lives.
People-pleasing, perfectionism and anxiety are my specialisms in my therapy practice. I find that teaching people compassionate bondaries to be one of the most helpful tools to give to people. Most clients need help in this area, but particularly people-pleasers..and I have worked with a lot of these!
Learning about boundaries was transformational in my life, giving myself permission to actually communicate what I want, rather than my usual habit and expectation to go along with what everyone else wants. I needed the permission, the know how and the support. I learnt this through my own journey-personal therapy, therapy training and clinical work. I love to help people to become more compassionate to themselves and others through boundary work.
This Interactive Journal is designed for YOU to start working out what it is that you want your life to look like and not what other people want. It will help you to get started at looking after yourself a bit better, so that you have some practical steps to implement.

Maybe it also feels way too daunting to start looking within. You’re not alone. Nearly every people-pleaser I’ve helped comes to me with the same concerns.
Maybe people-pleasing was modelled to you by your parents or maybe expressing your needs wasn’t encouraged or even actually discouraged since you were a young child. I am here to explore this gently, only as far as you want to go. We won’t just be looking at why people-pleasing is there for you but looking at what’s stopping you moving forward from a more authentic living.
I’ve been in your shoes. Through trainings, therapy, trial and error, I’ve learned a lot about speaking up authentically and I’m eager to pass my findings on to fellow people-pleasers.
